Expert Judge in Bridal & Make-Up Artistry.
Jamine Blundell
My love for Makeup Artistry started at a young age. I began my career at 17 years old and began to work freelance within the industry across Cornwall.
Over the years, I’ve worked on a variety of projects, from photo shoots to high profile interviews, with my work being featured in local magazines. I’ve also had the honor of doing makeup for celebrities helping them look their best for interviews.
Sharing my knowledge is something I’m really passionate about, which inspired me to launch my own makeup masterclass which I have taught locally. Teaching others the techniques and tips I’ve learned along the way has been one of the most rewarding parts of my career.
Looking ahead, I’m excited to continue growing as a makeup artist, collaborating on creative projects and expanding my reach in the makeup industry.
I plan to build on the success of my makeup masterclass, inspire more aspiring artists and take on new opportunities. My goal is to keep pushing boundaries, sharing my passion and helping people feel their most confident and beautiful.

Expert Judge in Skin
Clare Angell
It's an honor share my journey in the beauty and aesthetics industry. My career began 20 years ago when I earned my beauty therapy certification. Like many in this field, I started by immersing myself in the world of makeup. Over the years, I had the privilege of working with some of the most iconic brands in the industry, including Estee Lauder, Clinique, and Dior, where I honed my skills and developed a deep passion for skincare and beauty.
My next step was joining Clarins, where I was fortunate enough to work my way up to an Account Manager role. This experience taught me not only about the business side of the industry but also the importance of customer care and the value of developing strong, lasting relationships with clients.
As I evolved in my career, I transitioned into the Aesthetics industry, and it has been a truly exciting and fulfilling move. Recently, I was nominated for "Best in Aesthetics," and I had the incredible opportunity to attend the International Aesthetics Awards. It was a humbling and motivating experience to be recognized among such talented professionals.
Today, I’m proud to be working as an OFQUAL-regulated assessor for Level 7 in Aesthetic Medicine at multi award winning Aspinall Aesthetics. The chance to teach and guide the next generation of professionals is something I deeply value, as it allows me to give back to the industry that has given so much to me.
In all, my journey has been one of continuous learning, growth, and a dedication to excellence. I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunities I’ve had and excited for what the future holds.

Emma Long
I have been a working therapist for over 25 years and have worked in all environments. I initially started as a spa therapist in a health spa then I worked as a therapist in a high-end salon treating famous clients and footballers’ wives. This really pushed me to have incredibly high standards.
I have always loved treating regular clients so over the years I have set up various businesses which has given me tons of experience.
About twelve years ago I took a degree level course to teach beauty therapy. I initially got a job with a skincare company as their trainer traveling nationwide.
I then decided to work closer to home again so eight years ago I set up The Waters Edge Beauty Therapy in Hayle.
We have an incredibly busy and successful salon with a diary full of loyal clients.
I have always had a love for the beauty industry and hope to be able to share my insights to help others moving forward.

Expert Judge in Bridal & Hair
Ashleigh Fletcher
I had my heart set on becoming an art teacher, until my mother took me to a hair salon. Each stylist had architectural bobs, curated curls and sleek edgy outfits. I knew immediately that I had changed my mind. I worked very hard, but was rewarded with excellent mentors, who excepted only the highest standards, helped me to find my creative flair and meticulous attention to detail.
I worked my way up over the years as an colour technician and then finally a creative director, alongside this I held a freelance role as a bridal hair specialist for the salon. Growing in experience and gaining exposure in the industry.
I was incredibly lucky to secure a part time role in education and worked for a college as a Creative Trainer and Assessor. During my 2.5 years in this role I learned that I love to help people grow in our industry and passing on opportunities to others is my passion. I moved on from this role to focus on ambitions for my own business.
I now have my own highly successful bridal hairstyling business (Hair From The Heart) covering venues in the South West. With a growing team of hand picked bridal hairstylists. I am a recommended supplier for multiple venues. My work has been featured in several wedding magazines and I have written as an expert contributor for a bridal magazine. Currently, my work is featured front cover for WED magazine.
I am honoured to judge within the Cornwall Hair and Beauty awards. I hope that my vast experience practically with hundreds of brides, and in leadership and education will make me a fair and forward-thinking expert. educator and leader of a team of Pro-hairstylists.
